The second largest city in Germany, and one of Europe’s best waterfront destinations, built around the river Elbe. With many ports, Hamburg is known as the “Gateway to the World”, which you can explore on many boat tours. The district called Speicherstadt, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where there is the world’s largest warehouse district, museums all housed in red-brick buildings, near the Elbphilharmonie, a site you shouldn’t miss.
